John H. Richardson Special Recognition Award 2001
The John H. Richardson Special Recognition Award was developed to recognize an individual for a specific contribution that has enhanced the American Biological Safety Association and/or the profession of biosafety. Richard Fink from M.I.T.The American Biological Safety Association was pleased to present the 2001 John H. Richardson Special Recognition Award to Richard Fink from M.I.T. Richard Fink has taught in several preconference classes. He was given this award for creating the Biosafety Listserve, a forum for world-wide discussion of biosafety issues. Using the Listserve is an extremely effective and useful method of surveying colleagues for their experience with a particular problem. He not only had the vision and knowledge to create it, but has continued to diligently manage it over the years. |
