The Richard C. Knudsen Publication Award shall be given, when merited, to the author(s) of an article judged to be of the greatest service to the Association membership, whether the authors are members or not of the Association. The article shall have been published in Applied Biosafety the year preceding the award.

The American Biological Safety Association was pleased to present the 2004 Richard C. Knudsen Publication Award to R. Mark Buller in recognition of his contributions to Biodefense Research published in Applied Biosafety: Journal of the American Biological Safety Association in April 2004.
