How your request will be processed

  1. The ABSA Communications Committee will receive your submittal. DO NOT contact the ABSA Webmaster directly.
  2. A Committee Member will either
    • approve your request,
    • ask you for more information about your request,
    • ask others in ABSA for guidance regarding your request, or
    • deny your request (rare).
    You will receive an e-mail stating the outcome of the review and the estimated date of posting, if determined at that time.
  3. Your request will be forwarded to the ABSA webmaster for posting. You will be notified when your posting is live (generally within 5 work days). You are responsible for checking the posting to determine if it is posted correctly and without error. If there is an error, please e-mail info@absa.org and describe the problem. If we do not hear from you, we will assume the posting is correct.
  4. The posting will be reviewed annually and evaluated for continued relevance and timeliness. You will be contacted if we wish to remove your posting, unless you have previously identified a date by which the posting should be removed. If you have provided a date, the posting will be removed on or near that date without further notification.
